This is how my mind works.

This is a mural seen on the streets of Paris, France, recently. [It's on Wooster today, a blog I frequent.] It reminds me of this dream I had the other night. I was guiding someone through a fun house, and I described the different rooms as "the dimensions of my mind."

Which, this in itself reminded me of a quote from Waking Life. You know, the one where Ethan Hawke is talking about how once an idea is out there in the universe, it's easier for others to latch onto it. Like we're connected as humans that way.



And that got me to thinking about how maybe other people think about fun houses, too? Not just me and this graffiti artist?

“The Great Debaters” starring Denzel Washington

This film stars Denzel Washington, who focuses his trademark yelling talents on underprivileged students. As inspiring as that sounds, I have a major problem with this film. The fact that the students only reach the level of "great" is very upsetting. With a little a more practice, I am sure that all of the students could reach the status of "master."

Meh.

"We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things" by Jason Mraz

Although this album’s title sounds like the name of a tell-all pirate biography, in actuality it is a new Jason Mraz album. That said, I highly suggest you pick it up anyway because my four-year-old nephew designed the album cover.

Raccoons like to steal.
